Rosemarie H. Mclean

Rosemarie H. McLean, 94, longtime Superior resident, died peacefully, Saturday, October 24, 2020 surrounded by her family at Superior Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Berlin, Germany July 1, 1926, the daughter of Kurt and Gertrude Kunkel, and she was very proud of attaining her US Citizenship.

Rosemarie waitressed at Cronstroms Supper Club for thirty-five years before retiring. She was an avid game show watcher and enjoyed crocheting, watching golf and football, especially the Green Bay Packers. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, and will be missed by all.

She is survived by her son, Mike (Holly) McLean, Superior, WI; daughter, Barbara (Greg) Syring, Superior, WI; grandchildren, Derek (Kelly) VanDamme, Duluth, MN, Stephannie Van Damme, Telluride, CO, and Kelly Ziebell, Proctor, MN, and Kristine (Brian) VanHove; great-grandchildren, Lucas Foster, Julia and Katrina Jones, and Jack VanDamme; and her brothers and sisters in Germany.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, John McLean; parents; and two brothers.

Per Rosemarie’s wishes, private family services will be held.
