Ross J. Sutherland

Ross John Sutherland, 61, lifelong Superior resident, died unexpectedly in his home on Sunday, October 23, 2022. He was born to James and Shirley (Geiger) Sutherland on October 20, 1961, in Superior, WI.

Ross served his country honorably in the U.S. Army and the National Guard. He was employed for many years at Georgia Pacific.

Ross is survived by his son, James Sutherland, Duluth, MN; his brothers, Brian (Jane) Sutherland, Hibbing, MN, and James (Alison) Sutherland, Superior, WI; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Private family services were held.

Cremation Service of Superior, 403 E Street, Superior, is assisting the family with arrangements.
