Rueben Aho, 90, lifelong South Range and Maple resident, died Wednesday, November 03, 2010 in the Middle River Health and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born on July 19, 1920 in Maple to Samuel and Lydia Aho.
Rueben was employed as a machinist for Lidgerwood Mundy for many years before his retirement.
He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church and the Brule River Sportsman’s Club. He loved to fish on the Brule River, deer hunting, gardening and was an avid Packer fan.
Rueben is survived by one daughter, Karen (Fred) Moller, Northport, AL; one son, Milton (Linda) Aho, South Range, WI; five grandchildren, Sherri (Dan) Berekvam, Elk Mound, WI, Jeff Moller, Chippewa Falls, WI, Kyle Aho, South Range, WI, Jason Aho, Racine, WI, Kirby Aho, Superior; five great-grandchildren Brody Aho, Cullen Aho, Jordan Turner, Kirsten Turner and Elizabeth Moller.
He was preceded in death by his wife Viola, his parents, four brothers, Felix Martin, Waino and Hugo and two sisters, Lillian Kari and Mariam Ritzen.
Visitation will begin at 10:30 AM until the 12 Noon Funeral Service on Saturday, November 6, 2010 at Christ Lutheran Church with Pastor David Schoessow, officiating.
Interment will be in the Finnish Apostolic Lutheran Cemetery in Maple, WI.
Pallbearers for the service will be Jeff and Fred Moller, Kyle, Roger and Jason Aho and Roger Smith.
