Ryan T. Berger

Ryan T. Berger, 22, lifelong Superior resident, died unexpectedly, Friday, September 11, 2020 at his home. He was born in Duluth, MN, November 26, 1997, the son of Tom and Katie (Dolan) Berger.

He was a graduate of Superior Senior High School, class of 2016, and worked as the Assistant Manager at Marcus Theaters for several years.

Ryan enjoyed music, skateboarding, playing basketball, sunbathing, and collecting tennis shoes. He cherished his feline companion “Duncan”, and especially loved spending time with his friends who meant everything to him. He will be dearly missed by all.

He is survived by his mother, Katie (Duane Poynter) Berger; father, Tom Berger; sisters, Jennifer (Pat Albrecht) Palmer, and Paige Berger; his lovely girlfriend, Emily Darker; nephew, Nolan Friborg; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Richard and Elaine Dolan; and paternal grandparents, Henry and Anne Berger .

A Time of Remembrance and Celebration of Ryan’s Life will be held from 3:00 – 5:00 PM, Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at the Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home, 1209 E. 5 ^th Street, Superior.
