Sandra L. Skustad

The dang thing is, Sandra L. Skustad, 70, lifelong resident of Superior, WI died peacefully, while holding her son Bruce’s hand on Friday, April 1, 2022, at the REM Centennial House in Superior WI. She was born in Superior February 8, 1952, the daughter of LeRoy Berg and Virginia Marshall.

She graduated from Superior Senior High School and worked as a stockperson at Walmart for 28 years, retiring in 2018.

Sandy enjoyed rummage sales, Sammy’s Pizza, listening to 60’s & 70’s music, and watching Days of Our Lives. What she loved most, was spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She will lovingly be remembered for her favorite saying “The dang thing is…” and will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her children; Lee (Rhonda) Lorimor, Christine Lorimor, Bruce (Jennifer) Lorimor, and Heather Lorimor, grandchildren; Leigha, Peyton, Blake, Lillian, and Jackson Lorimor, sisters; Donna Marshall. Leslie Berg, and Janis Davis, and brothers; Larry Berg, Harry Berg, Allen Marshall, and LeRoy “Skip” Berg, and her former husband and lifelong friend and father of her children, Bruce E. Lorimor Sr.

She is preceded in death by her husband; Lloyd D. Skustad, sisters; Lorraine Cummings and Valerie Lukkarila, and her parents.

Sandy’s family would like to send a very special thanks to the staff of REM Centennial House and Essentia Health Hospice for their kind and compassionate care.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM, Friday, April 8, 2022 , at Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home, 1209 E. 5th Street in Superior , with a Memorial Service to begin at 7:00 PM with Gary Banker officiating.
