Selma Sue Olson

Selma “Suzie” Sue Olson, 50, Superior, formerly of Port Wing, WI, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 in her home.

She was born on February 3, 1963 in Superior to Clarence and Flora “Ardis” (Olsen) Johnson.
She graduated from South Shore High School.

Suzie married Lloyd Olson, Jr. on August 4, 1990 in Superior and celebrated twenty-three years of marriage.

She was a member of ARAC (Arrowhead Radio Amateur Club) and Superior Women’s Pool League.

She also was an avid sports fan who liked the Minnesota Vikings, the Minnesota Twins and NASCAR.

She also liked frogs.

In addition to her husband Lloyd, Suzie is survived by one daughter, SueAnn Elizabeth Olson, Superior; one stepdaughter, Katuriann Fish, Oklahoma; one granddaughter, Jemica; two sisters, Wanda Ortiz, Alabama, Misty (Scotty) Meadows, Wisconsin; one brother, Kelly Ray (Margaret) Johnson, Superior; mother and father-in-law, Rowena and Lloyd Olson, Sr.; her special friends that were her brother and sister at heart, Everett and Michelle Olsen, Superior and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will begin at 2:00 PM, Monday, November 18, 2013 and continue until the 4:00 PM Funeral Service at Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home with Dennis Anderson, officiating.
