Shirley Lantz

Shirley Lantz, 75, Gordon, died Wednesday, October 13, 2010 in her home. She was born on December 31, 1934 in Berwyn, Illinois to Robert and Margaret (Hitchcock) Allen.
She married Edward Lantz on December 20, 1975 in Wascott, WI and celebrated thirty-four years of marriage.
Shirley was employed as a waitress and bartender in the Gordon area for many years before her retirement in 2006. She also loved to bowl and crochet.
In addition to her husband Edward, Shirley is survived by one son Bruce (Pam) Winningham, Rice Lake, WI; two stepdaughters, Becky (Dale) Renfrow, New Albany, MS, Vicki (Robert) Everett, Douglasville, GA; nine grandchildren, Julie (Ryan) Wilson, Janesville, WI, Bruce “Spike” (Becky) Winningham, Janesville, WI, Jeremy (Anna) Winningham, Menomonie, WI, Heather Winningham, Cameron, WI, Brandon (Toya) Winningham, Chetek, WI, Chev, Donny Jr., Ashley and Alyssa and twelve great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Bruce Winningham, Sr; her parents and a sister, Margaret Garrison.
There will be a graveside service on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at 10:30 AM in the Gordon Cemetery and a Celebration of Life will follow at 11:30 AM at M & M’s Y-Go-By, 13889 E. County Trunk Y, Gordon, WI.
