Steven "Freddie" Fredrickson

Steven “Freddie” Fredrickson, 60, passed away Monday, July 22, 2019 in Superior, WI. He was born in Durand, WI on July 28, 1958, the son of James and Donna (Catura) Fredrickson.

He spent his life working hard to provide for his family and retired from Georgia Pacific in 2012. He was an AFLCIO union member.

Freddie was a die-hard Packer fan, often seen throwing his packer brick at the tv. He spent his life trying to make everyone around him laugh with his quirky sense of humor. He enjoyed his time at the camper in Iron River, WI, and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Freddie was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Fredrickson; mother, Donna Fredrickson; nephew, Andy Closson; and many close friends.

Freddie is survived by his daughters, Angela Mertes, Lacey (Seneca) Blackwell, Davianna Carlson, and Star Fredrickson; father, Jim (Kay) Fredrickson; brother, Mike (Nancy) Fredrickson; sister, Lori (Todd Adams) Closson; eleven grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many close friends.

A Time of Remembrance will be held from 1:30-3:00 PM, Saturday, July 27, 2019 at the Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home, 1209 E. 5 ^th Street, Superior.
