Steven "Steve" M. Pederson

Steven “Steve” M. Pederson, 63, South Range, WI resident, died surrounded by his loving family on Friday, November 20, 2020 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth, MN. He was born on April 27, 1957 in Superior, WI to Earl and Betty (Borreson) Pederson.

Steve served in the ROTC and the United States Marine Corps. He was a truck driver for Manion's Wholesale Building Supplies for many years. He married Mary Certano on October 20, 1979 in Superior, WI and recently celebrated forty-one years of marriage.

Steve was a member of St. Pius Catholic Church in Solon Springs, WI. He was an outdoorsman who loved fishing, hunting and camping. He was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and loved country music.

Steve is survived by his wife, Mary; son, Derek (Michelle) Pederson, Esko, MN; daughter, Heather Pederson, South Range, WI; grandson, Tyceson Johnson; sister, Becky (Rich) Moe, Superior, WI; brothers, Jim (Marlys) Pederson, Superior, WI and Scott (Robin) Gerding, FL and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents.

A private family Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at St. Pius Catholic Church in Solon Springs, WI.

SPECIAL NOTE: The Mass of Christian Burial is strictly private for family.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Superior, WI at 1:15 PM outdoors for those interested in attending.

The family prefers memorials to the family in place of any plants or flowers.
