Susan A. Johnson

Susan A Johnson, 63, of Superior- a loving wife, mother, sister, auntie, grandma and friend-passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2014 in her home surrounded by her family.

Sue was born in Brainerd, MN on January 30, 1951 to Robert and Bernice (Kahl) Fitch.

Sue married the love of her life Richard Johnson on August 3, 1974 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic church. They recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary in August. Susan loved to take family vacations to warmer weather, spending time with her family, camping trips, raising their children, reading, playing games and spoiling her grandchildren. She was always there to help anyone who needed her. Sue had the greatest love for everyone; Family was always her priority as she always expressed through her words, baking & cooking and the love she showed for her family. Sue gave the best hugs and somehow always knew what to do and say to turn grey skies blue.

Sue will be deeply missed by her loving husband Rick, their three children Seth (Angel) Johnson, Lucas Johnson (Elisa Garibay) and Kylee Johnson as well as her precious grandchildren Aaron and Brynn Johnson, sisters Connie Rydberg, Theresa (Jerry) Kastern and Rita (Dick) Burm, father and mother in law Richard and Marjorie Johnson, brother in law Brian (Chris) Johnson, sister in laws Linda (Dick) Capra, Barb (Mike) Stupak, Sue (Jeff) Heller, Marjie (Dave) Goad and Amy (Ed) Smith, many nieces, nephews and friends. Everyone who knew Sue loved her dearly.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Bernice Fitch, a brother Robert “Bobby” Fitch, and a brother in law El Rydberg.

Private family services will be held in honor of Sue.

The Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
