Terri "Sissy" Schwarzer Benedict

Terri “Sissy” Schwarzer Benedict, 59, resident of Boise, ID, former longtime Superior area resident, died Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, ID. She was born in Boscobel, WI, January 13, 1961, the daughter of Jerome and Nancy (Degenhardt) Holt.

She graduated from Superior Senior High School in 1977, and worked as an Event Coordinator and in her later years as a Nurse’s Aide.

Sissy enjoyed cooking and catering, and loved working with people. She will forever be remembered for her independent spirit, beautiful green eyes, her infectious smile and her love for the Mountains.

She met and married Robert Schwarzer and together they had three children.

She is survived by her children, Christopher (Terra) Schwarzer, Carol Schwarzer (Brogen) and Chase Schwarzer; the father of her children, Robert Schwarzer; granddaughters, Kaylee, Brylinn, and Riley; grandson, Cullen; mother, Nancy Holt, Superior, WI; brothers, Jerry (Kimberly) Holt, Superior, WI, and Norman Holt, (Shari) Oliver, WI; sisters, Lori Holt, Buffalo, MN, Michelle Janz, Superior, WI, and Angela Holt Wagner, Hudson, WI; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father and her nephew Kenny Holt.
