Thomas J. Biller

Thomas J. Biller, Sr, 82, of Superior, WI, passed away peacefully Monday September 1, 2025 in Marshfield, WI with his family by his side. He was born September 29, 1942 to Donald and Ida Biller at St. Joseph Hospital in Superior, Wisconsin.

He attended Cathedral High School before enlisting in the US Air Force in 1960.  He served for 20 years, retiring in February 1980. Thomas served in the Vietnam War and received the Bronze Star for his actions.

On June 25, 1966, Thomas married Marcia Wintode at Cathedral of Christ the King Catholic Church in Superior. They celebrated  59 years together.

Upon retirement from the Air Force, he and his family settled back in Superior. He worked for Douglas County Social Services until retirement in 1997.

Thomas was a member of the VFW, American Legion and The National Rifle Association. An avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting, fishing and 4-wheeling. He was a lifelong Packer and Brewers fan ad rarely missed a game.

Most of all, he was devoted to his family and cherished his grandkids and great grandkids.

He was preceded in death by father Donald Biller and mother Ida Biller.

Thomas is survived by wife Marcia Biller; son Thomas J. (Lisa) Biller Jr; daughter Terri (Scott)  Saunders, 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brother Don Biller; sister Lorraine French;  multiple nieces and nephews and cousins.

Visitation begins at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home, 1209 E 5th Street in Superior. A Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 AM with Rev. Fr. James Tobolski as celebrant.

Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Superior, WI. Military Honors will be accorded by the Richard I. Bong American Legion Post  #435 Honor Guard.
