Thomas Waletzko

Thomas Waletzko, 69, Superior, died Tuesday, March 26, 2013, unexpectedly in his home. He was born on June 22, 1943 in Superior, WI to Louis and Dorothy (Fosvig) Waletzko.

Tom graduated from the former East High School and owned and operated his own farm.

He married Margaret “Margo” Peck on July 25, 1973 and celebrated 39 years of marriage.

He was a former member of St. William’s Catholic Church, Northern Wisconsin Bee Keepers and American National Bee Keepers Association.

Tom was a member of the Wisconsin Farmers Association and was previously employed with the Superior School District and the former Waletzko’s Bowling Alley and had various business interests. He also loved trout fishing on the Brule.

Tom is survived by his wife Margaret “Margo”, Superior, WI; two daughters, Cheryl Lee Waletzko, Superior, WI and Sara Jean (Dustin) Petz, Shell Lake, WI; two sons, Thomas E. “Tom” (Cindy) and Andrew “Andy” Waletzko, both of Superior, WI; seven grandchildren, Kelsey Burnham, Sierra (James Line) Robbins, Darrell, RayAnn and David Petz and Bo and Jasmin Waletzko; great-grandson, Aeon Line; two sisters, Catherine Tyler, FL and Marjorie (Tony) Ronchi, Iron River, WI; two brothers, James E. (Sandra), South Range, WI and Scott A. (Doris) Waletzko, Superior, WI and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Ann Waletzko and nephew David Gucinski.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at St. William’s Catholic Church, 3095 E Cty Tk B, Foxboro and continue until the 12:00 PM Memorial Mass with Rev. Fr. Ronald Olson as celebrant.
