Timothy Scott Braman

May 2, 1952 — November 16, 2024

Timothy "Tim" Scott Braman, 72, of Superior, WI and Green Valley, AZ, lost his 12-year battle from complications caused by cancer treatments received in 2012. He passed away on November 16, 2024, in Green Valley with his loving family and devoted friends at his side. Tim was born on May 2, 1952, to William Stuart Braman and Eileen Helen Braman in Superior, WI.

Tim had such a full life! He worked for several railroads starting with the Chicago Northwestern, then DM&IR and retired in 2012 from the Canadian National. He swept his wife Jean off her feet in 1991, and they married in 2011. Since they met, they have always been “joined at the hip”. They loved their time together and she will miss him with all her heart.

After retirement he volunteered for the DAV driving Veterans to their medical appointments. He LOVED to fly airplanes and flew for many years for the Civil Air Patrol in Superior and was ranked as Major when he retired a few years ago. He was an excellent pilot! He flew skydivers during his spare time. He called himself “The Skydiver Driver”. He loved riding bike, rollerblading, walking, hiking, laps in the pool, scuba, riding his Harley and golf – most anything that involved exercise, he did. He was also talented in playing guitar, drums, harmonica and piano.

Tim was a determined man... no matter what the challenge or request, he gave his all to ensure he exceeded expectations whether for himself or others. He was also known for his intelligence, common sense, and wonderful wit. He was beloved by everyone who ever met him. He leaves a huge hole in the hearts of everyone who listened to his stories and great sense of humor.

Tim is survived by Jean, his wife of 13 years; and his son-in-law, Jim Conner (Masha); his brothers, Bill Braman and Earl Braman (Harriet); sister Joanie Hoffman (Mike); brother-in-law Joseph Despins (Janet); sister-in-law Ellen Despins (Randy); grandsons, Diego Trujillo, Mateo Trujillo, Ainsley Leffel and many Nieces and Nephews. Special mention is his beloved dach “son” Ziggy.

Tim is preceded in death by his father, William Braman, mother, Eileen Braman; sister, Marilyn Keeler; daughter-in-law, Kelly Trujillo; father and mother-in-law Thomas and Lona Despins.

In one of the stars, I shall be living. In one of them, I shall be laughing. And so, it will be as if all the stars were laughing when you look at the sky at night… And when your sorrow is comforted (time soothes all sorrows) you will be content to have known me” “Little Prince” Author Antoine de Saint–Exupery on Losing a Friend”.
