Timothy A. Carlson

Timothy A. Carlson, 65, longtime resident of Superior, WI died Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth, MN.

Tim was born in Duluth on December 13, 1956, the son of LeRoy and Darlene (Gitchel) Carlson. He graduated high school and went on to work as a machinist for BNSF Railway for many years.

Tim was united in marriage to Shirley Passenheim on November 15, 1993, and they celebrated twenty-eight years of marriage before his passing.

Tim was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping. He had an appreciation for music and enjoyed playing his guitar. In addition, Tim was a Mopar enthusiast, and he especially loved animals.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Shirley; sons, Sam and Vince Carlson; grandson, Jared Carlson; and siblings, Bob and Steve Carlson, Peggy (Rick) Graves, and Sandy (Andy) Anderson.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Per Tim’s wishes, no services will be held.
