Trevor D. Wahner

Trevor Dane Wahner, 26, Superior, WI, died on Saturday, September 2, 2017 in Hennepin County, MN. He was born on October 18, 1990 in Superior, WI to Erin Wahner and Gary Beeksma.

He was a graduate of Northwoods High School.Trevor had a wonderful smile, big heart and great sense of humor and loved to make people smile. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt, sit by the campfire and go fishing with his family at Red Lake Resort which was one of his favorite places to be.  He enjoyed going to the races and watching his cousins, Andy and Cody race. He also was a big fan of Chris Chelios, the Detroit Red Wings and MMA.  He will be sadly missed by all.

Trevor is survived by his mother, Erin; father, Gary; one sister, Julia (Jacey Butau) Frye; grandparents, Gayle Wahner, Jim (Phyllis) Beeksma, Jim (Rochelle) Frye and Duane (Jo Ann) Carlson; stepfathers, Jim Frye and Duane “Dew” Carlson; aunts and uncles, Heidi (Scott) Sellwood, Adam (Sheri) Wahner, Kris (Dan) Kavajeck and Lynette (Dave) Cobb, April Pierce, Rochelle “Shelly” Pierce, Linda (John) Grymala, Darrell (Judy) Carlson and Jim Paton and numerous cousins, friends and other relatives.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Christopher Wahner and his uncle, Joel C. Wahner.

A Celebration of Trevor’s Life will be held from 2:00 to 5:00 PM on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Red Lake Resort, 10428 E. Red Lake Drive, Minong, WI.
