Tyler John-Henry Stage

February 16, 2008 — March 17, 2021

Tyler John-Henry Stage, age 13, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at his home in Superior, WI.

Tyler was born on Saturday, February 16, 2008 in Duluth, MN to parents Troy John Stage and Lisa Lorraine Stage (Holm). Tyler was a loving, compassionate, intelligent old soul, who was very inquisitive and always had a zest to learn. Tyler was an out-going socialite who could brighten up the room with his highly expressive animated story-telling abilities, of course with his own extensive use of embellishment and humor. He was a dedicated Lego building master and a huge Star Wars fan. Tyler loved his family and friends and he made loving him so easy. Tyler was an avid UMD hockey fan, loved watching his “big” cousin play football, and golfing with his mom. Tyler was knowledgeable above his years. He did not hesitate to challenge those around him on topics of history, geography, or, well just about anything, most often being right. He was a hard worker and had the abilities to build decks and sheds, change oil on vehicles, drive his dad’s John Deere tractor, and use power tools and saws. He never missed the chance to enjoy the outdoors hiking, canoeing, fishing, skiing, or just simply relaxing in the warm summer sun. Tyler never complained and always made the best of every situation. He looked forward to his 3pm virtual visits with his closest friends at which time laughs could be heard throughout the house.

Tyler is survived by his parents, Troy (Cheryl Riedasch) Stage and Lisa Holm, brothers Jake Perzyk and Ricardo Stage, and sisters Lexie Thompson and Sabreena and Calli Stage. He is also survived by grandmothers’ Bonnie Stage and Carol Holm, Great-Grandmother Burnell Prudhomme, and by many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends. Tyler was proceeded in death by his grandfathers’ Bruce Holm and Darnell Stage. Tyler’s furry brothers Tyrion, Scruffles, Jedd, and Jasper will miss the love and joy he showed them.

A private funeral service will be held Saturday, March 27, 2021 at the Stage Residence in South Range, WI. There will be a celebration of life for Tyler later this summer with details to come.
