Verna Beverly Carlson

Verna Beverly Carlson, 95, longtime Superior area resident, passed away, Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at the Golden Living Center in Superior.

She was born on July 21, 1916 in Superior, the daughter of Carl Herman and Ann (Gosine) Anderson.

Verna was a former member of UCT auxiliary.

She is survived by her two Sons, Eugene T. Carlson, Superior and James D. Carlson, Florida; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Verna was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar; her parents; two sisters and two brothers.

Grave side services will be held at a later date in the Summit cemetery.

The Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home, 1209 East 5th Street, Superior is assisting the family with arrangements.
