Veronica J. Brunette

Veronica J. Brunette, 100, Duluth resident and formerly of Superior, died Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at the Viewcrest Health Center in Duluth.

She was born on December 15, 1913 in Superior, WI to Frank and Stella (Draskowska) Herrick.

She was a member of Cathedral of Christ the King Catholic Church and the V.F.W. Auxiliary.

Veronica and her husband William owned and operated Bills Exchange and Second Hand Store for thirty-seven years in Superior.

Veronica is survived by two sons, Bruce Brunette, Venice, FL and Brian (Patty) Brunette, Proctor, MN; six grandchildren, Emily, Laura, Rick, Patty, David and Peter; ten great-grandchildren and 12 great great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband William A. Brunette, son William R. Brunette and her parents.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM on Monday, October 13, 2014 at the Downs-LeSage Funeral Home, 1304 Hammond Avenue, Superior and continue until the 7:00 PM funeral service with Rev. Fr. Andrew Ricci officiating.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Superior.
