Vicki Mullens

Some people only walk this Earth for a short time. Their departure reminds us that angels are watching over us.

Vicki Mullens, 63, gained her wings December 12, 2021, after a short battle with COVID-19. She joins her parents Harold and Evonne Cullen.

Vicki was a loving and compassionate wife, mother, grandma & friend. She married the love of her life, William, and together they shared 43 years of love and life. They raised 3 strong and stubborn daughters, Courtnye (Jake Bachand), Kelly, and Megan (Kyle) Casper and a hardworking, determined son William (Monica Soland). A mother’s job is never done, she was the center of her family until the very end. Vicki had many careers throughout her life that showed her intelligence and versatility such as being co-owner at BVM Transaxle for over 19 years, being a tax preparer at H&R Block, and other Management jobs. She recently retired from Walmart after 10 years. Although she was a hard worker, she enjoyed spending her time attending events for her grandkids: Paxton, Jace, Annalise, Raelynn, and Kacey. They were her pride and joy and she often boasted about them. Family was important to Vicki. She sadly leaves behind her three beloved sisters: Pamella (Raul Romo) Converse, Judith (James) Rousonelos, and Sharon (Dan Garza) Bucholtz, as well as her lifelong soul sister and best friend Ruthie Parkman.

While she will be dearly missed, we rest comfortably knowing she is relaxing, reading, couponing and gaining miles on her wings overlooking and protecting her loved ones.

Please join us in celebrating her life and sharing memories on Saturday, June 11 ^th , 2022 at Bayside Baptist Church. Visitation will be held at 11:00 am with the service starting at 12:00 p.m. Following the service there will be a luncheon served in her honor.
