She graduated from Ashland High School, Class of 1972 where she played the French horn in the band. She earned her associate’s degree in accounting and hospitality management from WITC-Ashland. She worked numerous jobs over her life including bartending/waitressing/cooking at various restaurants & bars in WI, Advertising & Circulation Manager at the Ashland Daily Press, but her favorite position was working for Dove Health Care, in Eau Clarie, WI, as dietary cook. She loved the residents and staff there and they treated her well when she herself was a resident in 2020. She loved the residents there so much that when we got an inheritance from our Uncle Carl, she donated a bench in his memory for the residents to enjoy the outdoors at Dove Health Care.
Vicky belonged to pool leagues in Ashland, Superior, and Eau Claire, WI. She played softball for Ashland and Eau Claire. She was also in a bowling league in Ashland. She collected many trophies and awards over the years. She loved The Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Bucks, Milwaukee Brewers and Badger athletics.
