Viola Boylan, 94, Papillion, NE, died Saturday, December 1, 2012 in Papillion, NE.
She was born on July 30, 1918 in Crookston, MN to James and Ida Cassavant and had lived in Superior from 1951 to 2008.
Viola was employed as a secretary for Kimmes Oil and she also had managed the Dairy Dip Restaurant in South Superior.
She had been a member of Holy Assumption Catholic Church since 1951. She loved quilting with the ladies at Holy Assumption Catholic Church.
Viola is survived by three daughters, Gloria (Dave) Haworth, Papillion, NE, Delvina Wall, Channing, TX, Rose Wells, Superior, WI; five sons, Bernard Boylan, Papillion, NE, Patrick (Sandy) Boylan, Sturgeon Lake, MN, Daniel Boylan, Omaha, NE, Leonard “Lenny” Boylan, Ithaca, NE, William “Bill” Boylan, Minneapolis, MN;
seventeen grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Leonard and her son Henry "Hank" Boylan.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM until the 11:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Holy Assumption Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Ronald Olson, as celebrant.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Superior.
Pallbearers for the service will be, Bernard Boylan, Patrick Boylan, Leonard “Lenny” Boylan, Bill Boylan, Dave Haworth and Lenny Boylan.
