Virginia P. (Weyandt) Marshall

Virginia P. (Weyandt) Marshall, 82, Superior resident, died on Monday, May 2, 2016 at the Golden Living Center in Superior. Virginia was born at home in Brule, WI on May 23, 1933 to Maxwell and Vivian (Kemp) Weyandt.

She was employed as a telemarketer for Innovative Marketing for many years. Virginia was a talented woman who did oil painting, various crafts and crocheting right up until her death. Virginia was a hard working woman who worked until she was seventy-six years old and got lung cancer in 2010. She rarely missed work due to weather. Virginia enjoyed garage sales, fishing and spending time with her family.

Virginia is survived by four daughters, Sandy Skustad, Lorraine Cummings, Valarie (DuWayne Kasper) Lukkarila and Donna (Robbie Manson) Marshall, all of Superior, WI; four sons, LeRoy (Jackie) Berg, Superior, WI, Larry (Susan) Berg, Kansas, Carl J. Berg, Eau Claire, WI and Alan (Kelly) Marshall, Temple, TX; twenty-four grandchildren and fifty-six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Katherine (Ken) Koski, Lorraine Weyandt, first husband LeRoy Berg, Sr., second husband Donald Marshall, special friend Richard Stansky and great-granddaughter Arianna Lynn Thomas.

Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at the Brule Town Hall, 5814 S. Maple Street, Brule, WI and continue until the 1:00 PM memorial service with Major Rosemary Matson and Connie Maki officiating.

Burial will be in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Brule, WI.
