Wanda J. Stillman

Wanda Jean (Maas) Stillman, age 75 of Ramsey, MN, formerly of St. Paul and Duluth, MN passed away after a short battle with cancer on Sunday, October 15, 2023.

Wanda was born to Clyde and Ethel Maas, on January 29, 1948. She grew up in St. Paul, MN with her two brothers, Terry and Al. Her family moved to Duluth MN when she was in 9th grade.  Wanda attended Ordean Middle school, where she met her loving husband of 53 years, James Stillman.  Wanda graduated college from the University of Minnesota Duluth, and soon after married Jim on July 11, 1970.  Wanda worked throughout her career in the accounting profession along with raising two beautiful daughters, Kelly and Kim.  Wanda moved back to the Twin Cities with her husband in 1997 and retired in 2014 when she was presented with the opportunity to provide daycare for her Grandchildren. During retirement Wanda lived life to the fullest traveling with Jim and her family to multiple destinations. She loved gardening, cooking, sewing, puzzles, and spending time with friends and family.  More than anything, Wanda loved to be with her Grandkids, Savannah, Bryson, Megan, and Keegan. They were the loves of her life.  She took the kids everywhere and planned fun activities at home. She attended hockey games, gymnastic meets, dance and piano recitals, soccer games, and baseball games on a regular basis. She would come home from an outing with her Grandchildren, sit in her chair and say, “Boy I am exhausted, but I am the happiest person in the world.”

Wanda is survived by her husband Jim Stillman, Brothers Terry (Carolyn) Maas, Allen Maas; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; Daughters Kelly Jean (Curt) Rogers; Kimberly Alison (Jim) Lusk; and her Grandchildren: Savannah Lusk, Megan Lusk, Bryson Rogers, and Keegan Rogers, who were the most important people in her life.

Services will be held on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at United Methodist Church of Anoka, 850 South Street, Anoka, MN. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00 PM. Gathering of family and friends will follow the service at a separate location.
