Wendy L. Teal

Wendy L. Teal, 62, Lake Nebagamon, WI, passed away on Monday, November 16, 2015. She passed at the Solvay Hospice House in Duluth, MN, following a courageous seven year battle with Ovarian Cancer which she showed amazing strength and grace.

She was born on September 14, 1953 in Superior to Dale and Irene (Knoll) Wedan.

Wendy married Roger Teal on September 25, 1971 in Lake Nebagamon and celebrated 44 years of marriage.

She had been employed at Minnesuing Acres for 19 years.
Wendy was a wonderful cook and baker. She loved shopping for gifts for her grandchildren and loved attending their sporting events. She was very loving and generous to her family and friends. Her laughter and fun spirit brought joy to many.

In addition to her husband Roger, Wendy is survived by a daughter, Renee (Jody) Anttila, Lake Nebagamon; a son Ryan (Jaimi) Teal, Lake Nebagamon; grandchildren, Rachel, Spencer, Boden, Tysen and Camden; a brother, Jeff (Jennifer) Wedan, Redwood Falls, MN; a sister, Marcy Wedan, Mahtowa, MN; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Margie Olson, Wendy Sprague, Jeanne Ellison, and the Minnesuing Acres Crew.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM and will continue until the 11:00 AM Memorial Service on Monday, November 23, 2015 at Mission Covenant Church with Pastor Carey Vik, officiating.
