William "Bill" J. Revnell

William J. “Bill” Revnell, 79, resident of Gordon, WI, passed away peacefully with his loving wife by his side, on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at Twin Ports Health in Superior, WI. He was born in Traverse City, MI on August 9, 1945, to William M. and Virgil (Huddleston) Revnell.

He graduated from high school in Boulder, CO before attending vocational school for two years. Bill then joined that United States Army and served his country honorably in the Vietnam War.

Bill was united in marriage to Connie Vogt on January 17, 2006. Bill refinished antique furniture before his retirement. They celebrated nineteen wonderful years together before his passing.

He was a member of the VFW in Barnes, WI and was an avid outdoorsman and sports fan. One of his favorite spots were the mountains of Colorado. He also enjoyed fishing in Wisconsin. Bill and Connie also loved to travel all over the country, taking the scenic route whenever possible.

Bill is survived by his beloved wife, Connie Revnell, Gordon, WI; daughters Jentry Wright and Courtney (David) Peters; grandchildren Ben Hurt, Skyla Wright, Josie Wright, and Cassidy Peters; sisters Jean Revnell and Judy Acha; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and grandson Mason Peters.

Per Bill’s wishes, not public service will be held.
