Bill lived the majority of his life in Wisconsin. For over 30 years, he proudly worked for the City of Superior as the City Planner and Port Director and went on to work for the State of Wisconsin Department of Commerce. He was a devout public servant and wanted the best for his community. He was elected Village Supervisor in the Village of Windsor, WI and volunteered on many boards and committees over his career. Some of his most cherished memories were made during his time working for the City of Superior with Bruce Hagen, Steve Schweppe, and Jim Kumbera in the 1980’s.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Carolyn, his true love, wife of 29 years, Jacqueline Lehman; many dear family pets and his beloved riding lawnmower.
He loved traveling, mowing the lawn, the art of rhetoric, the Florida Keys, spending time with his friends and family, golfing, aviation, boating, watching Fox News, and cheering his kids on through all their sports, endeavors, and hobbies. He had a special love for dad jokes and Velcro. He never missed an opportunity to embarrass his kids, help a friend or give generously. He lived his life with dignity, honor, humor and love. He was very loyal man and loved to engage in conversation. He loved politics, the Republican Party and the flag. He was a selfless caregiver and volunteer.
