William F. Moore

William F. Moore, 93, resident of Hermantown, MN, passed away on Friday, May 24, 2024, at The North Shore Estates in Duluth, MN. He was born in Duluth on February 25, 1931, the son of William H. and Marguerite G. (Beauchamp) Moore.

He spent most of his adult life working in food service distribution.

William is best known for his love of feeding the neighborhood animals, especially the birds and deer. And you could often find him putzing around his garage. He was a wonderful man and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his children William D. (Raylene) Moore, Susan Hemmila, Tim (Joey) Moore, Kathleen Anderson, Ricki Kamppi, and Susan Bodner; brother Michael (Lillian “Cootsa”) Moore; special grandson Chris (Rachel) Morrison and many more grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

William is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Clarissa, long-time partner Fay Bennett, sons Ronald M. and Thomas S. Moore, brothers Thomas and Robert Moore, sister Yolande Kristiansen, son-in-law Monty Anderson, and his parents.

A Celebration of William’s Life will be held at a later date.
