William W. Ormston, Jr.

William W. Ormston, Jr., 55, Lake Nebagamon, WI passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 22, 2014.

He was born on December 15, 1958 in Superior, WI to William W. and Judith (Engstrom) Ormston, Sr.

He graduated from Northwestern High School in 1977.

Bill married Cheryl Luukkonen on June 28, 1980 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Lake Nebagamon and celebrated 34 years of marriage.

He was employed as an electrician for Benson Electric for 30 years.

Bill loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing and he was an avid golfer. He enjoyed spending time with family at the hunting shack and he was an avid Packer fan.

He was a member of the Lions Club in Lake Nebagamon and the Electricians Local Union #242 in Duluth.

In addition to his wife Cheryl, Bill is survived by one son, Bret (Annie) Ormston, Iron River, Wi; one daughter, Carmen Ormston, Lake Nebagamon, WI; two grandchildren, Wesley and Claire; three sisters, Carrie (Mark) Bultman, Cadott, WI, Kelly (Jim) McCollum, Superior, WI, Kim Ormston, Cleveland, OH; one brother, Jeffery (Jill Kimmes) Ormston, Lake Nebagamon, WI and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 29, 2014 and will continue until the 12 Noon Funeral Service at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lake Nebagamon with Pastor Darrell Kyle, officiating.

Pallbearers for the service will be, William “Bill” Harvey, Don Harvey, Sr., Don Harvey, Jr., Randy Rindahl, Mark Bultman, Dean Baillie, Jeff Karna and Scott Ormston.

Honorary pallbearer will be Al Follis.
