William "Bill" Pethers

William “Bill” Pethers, 54, longtime resident of the Township of Superior, WI died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Monday, February 13, 2017.

He was born July 17, 1962 in Superior, the son of Helen Caffrey.

Bill married Lois Bruner on October 11, 1985 and they celebrated 31 years of marriage before his passing.

He was employed as a Forklift Operator at Field Logic in Superior, WI. He enjoyed cooking and golfing in his free time.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Lois Pethers, Superior, WI; two daughters, Amanda Bruner, Morgan Park, MN and Lorissa Wicklund, Superior, WI; son, Anthony Bruner; six grandchildren, Cassidy Pethers and Chelsey Wicklund; sister, Terry; two brothers, Carl and Edward and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Helen Caffrey; two sisters, Jean Pethers and Helenia Beckwell and brother, Ray Pethers.

A time of remembrance and celebration of Bill’s life will be Saturday, February 18, 2017 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM in the Downs-LeSage Funeral Home, 1304 Hammond Avenue, Superior, WI.

Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
