Rosemary Hildenbrand

RoseMary Hildenbrand, left this life peacefully on September 9, 2025 at the age of 93 at the Spirit of Home in Hibbing, Minnesota where she resided for the final month of her life here on earth.

She was born June 26,1932 to Hans and Dorothy Vetter in Selz, North Dakota, and was raised in Anamoose, ND where she graduated from high school in 1950. She married the love of her life, Raymond Roy Hildenbrand, on March 7, 1951 in Towner, ND. They celebrated 61 years together until his passing in 2012. As a homemaker, she was always there for her family.

She and Ray traveled many places around the world and wintered in Tucson AZ enjoying the warmth and friendships.

RoseMary is survived by her son Douglas Hildenbrand (Kristin); daughter Char Hannula (Jim); son-in-law Mike Day; grandchildren: Michael Hannula (Rachel), Amanda Flaschberger (Jared), Kari Petrich (David) , Dr. Jay Hildenbrand (Katie), Nathan Day (Sasha) and Cody Day; great-grandchildren: Isaac, Isaiah, Nora, Alicia, Jacob, Emma, Matthew, Lily, Mason, Wyatt, Violet, Greysen, Treston, and Haidyn; her beloved sister, Margaret Opp; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Hans and Dorothy; husband Ray; brother Raymond Vetter; beloved daughter Mary Beth Day; and daughter-in-law Deanne Hildenbrand.

A Rosary will begin at 10:30 AM on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Superior and a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated by family at 11:00 AM with Rev. Fr.  James Tobolski as celebrant.
